Identical to our largest hand forged trowel except with a deeply cupped blade that is sharpened all the way up both sides making it useful for quickly coring a hole for setting out bedding plants. Unlike most transplant trowels, ours comes without depth markings on the blade surface. Why? Because I’ve never seen anyone use the depth markings on trowels that have them. Most gardeners can tell one inch from two or three and your bulbs won’t croak if you bury them a half or quarter inch too deep or too shallow
