For help ordering online, choosing the right tool, or for general information and inquiries, contact Seth at: [email protected] or 503-479-5571. (Please do leave a message, Seth is probably in the forge or shop making tools if he doesn't answer.)
Retail Store - Currently Our Home-Based Workshop in Lake Oswego (Open by Appointment): We are currently looking for a new, permanent retail home and studio base for customers of Red Pig Garden Tools to visit us in the Portland area. Until we find just the right spot - a neat spot with character where you can buy tools and see us making them - we do open up our home-based workshop. If you are in the Portland area and want to pick up some tools in person, need a custom tool made or personalized, need a tool fixed or sharpened, or just want to order online and pick up in person to save on shipping, let us know. We can arrange a time for you to swing by our temporary home workshop in Lake Oswego when Seth will be there. Thanks for your flexibility and understanding...and if you have a good idea of a place we might want to call our new home, please let use know! Due to COVID, we are limiting in person visits and pickups to 2-3 people per day, with at least 1 hour between customers. We request you wear a mask while here, and if you wish to come inside to view additional tools, a mask is required. Many of our customers are at a higher risk for COVID due to age and health; help us keep everyone safe and please plan to remain in your car if you have recently been sick or have been around someone sick. We will bring your order to your car for you. Thanks.
About the former store in Boring: It has been several years now since Bob retired from Red Pig Garden Tools (in 2017) and Seth took over. Red Pig Garden Tools are no longer available in the former store in Boring. You can still find Bob and Rita on their property, and the barn shop is still open (look up Red Hammer Forge for contact info and hours). Instead of Red Pig Garden Tools, they will be selling other interesting things. Bob will continue to repair and sharpen tools for customers who find Boring more convenient than Lake Oswego, as well as do custom blacksmith work.
