Now, that's a Hoe, is the usual comment of someone picking up this beefy tool. The blade and shaft are forged from a single piece of square steel rod. This hoe weighs in at just under three pounds. It measures from 23-25-inches long. When you swing this hoe, it's like swinging an axe or hammer. It doesn't take much effort to drive it deep into the ground. The flared blade is sharpened across the bottom and up the sides. It clears a swath about 2-3" wide. This elegantly simple implement is a workhorse capable of the roughest ground breaking or weeding chores.
