Rock gardening involves planting in small crevices and tight spaces where a wide trowel just won't fit. This trowel has a sharp, one-inch wide blade and is suitable for installing plants or extracting weeds from the most confined cracks and crevices. Our trowels are flat to start with and then cupped. The measurement is from the backside of the trowel, not across the front.

Wow what a tool, I ordered two Red Pig tools and the ordering was easy and the shipping fast. Best of all is the quality and beauty of the tools. The rockery tools is perfect for working around and in between rocks in my native garden which sets on a very rocky bluff. I will definitely be ordering more tools to replace the low quality tools I have been using.

rockery trowel

This might be my favorite weeding and gardening tool ever. I have a hard time sharing it with my bride (of almost 40 years). we met Mr. Red Pig at the Garden Show in downtown Seattle last year and bought 3 of his awesome tools. the small hand size weed rake, a poker and this rockery/dandelion/all purpose tools. i've been using these for over a year now and i'm thinking of ordering at least another rockery tool and possibly more as we have started to grow more than a little of our own food too.. keep up the great quality and designs!!
